About the Role
We're partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed healthcare AI company that's transforming how home health clinicians work. Its technology eliminates time-consuming administrative tasks, giving clinicians more time to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. With thousands of clinicians already using the platform and significant growth ahead, the company is looking for a strategic operator to help accelerate its next stage. As Chief of Staff, you'll work directly with the founder to drive strategic growth initiatives, develop high-value external relationships, and create new opportunities for the business. You'll operate as a trusted partner who can independently represent the company, build relationships with senior stakeholders, and turn ambitious ideas into meaningful business outcomes.
This is not a traditional internal operations or executive support role. The company has dedicated resources managing day-to-day execution, and this position is designed to focus on strategic initiatives that expand the company's reach, strengthen its market position, and create long-term value. You'll have significant autonomy, direct exposure to company leadership, and the opportunity to help shape how a rapidly growing healthcare technology business scales.
What You'll Do
Partner directly with the founder to identify, prioritize, and execute strategic initiatives that accelerate company growth and market expansion.
Develop and manage strategic partnerships with industry organizations, healthcare associations, and other influential stakeholders across the home health ecosystem.
Build relationships with senior executives, industry leaders, and potential partners, representing the company with credibility and sound judgment.
Establish and manage a customer advisory board, including identifying members, developing engagement strategies, and creating opportunities for meaningful customer input.
Support the development of a broader network of strategic advisors who can provide industry expertise, relationships, and guidance as the company scales.
Create and execute initiatives that strengthen relationships with clinicians, customers, and industry stakeholders, including community events and engagement programs.
Identify emerging market opportunities, evaluate potential growth channels, and translate strategic ideas into actionable plans with measurable outcomes.
Collaborate with internal leadership across growth, product, and operations to ensure external initiatives align with company priorities and translate into business results.
Provide guidance and oversight on select cross-functional priorities, leveraging existing operational resources rather than owning routine administrative execution.
Serve as a trusted thought partner to the founder, bringing independent perspectives, challenging assumptions when appropriate, and helping navigate complex business decisions.
Who You Are
You have 5+ years of professional experience, ideally including meaningful operating experience at a high-growth startup, venture-backed company, or similarly entrepreneurial environment.
You have a demonstrated ability to independently own strategic initiatives, build something from the ground up, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
You bring strong executive presence and can confidently build relationships with founders, senior executives, investors, and industry stakeholders.
You're commercially minded and understand how partnerships, customer relationships, and market opportunities contribute to company growth.
You're comfortable operating in ambiguous environments where priorities evolve and success requires both independent judgment and hands-on execution.
You have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, build trust, and represent leadership effectively.
You're proactive, resourceful, and naturally identify opportunities that others may overlook, taking initiative without waiting for direction.
You have the analytical ability to evaluate opportunities, develop recommendations, and translate complex challenges into clear business decisions.
You know how to balance strategic thinking with execution, recognizing when to personally drive an initiative and when to leverage others to get it done.
You bring a low-ego, high-ownership mindset and are motivated by the opportunity to create meaningful impact rather than simply manage processes.
You're energized by healthcare innovation and interested in helping build technology that improves the lives of clinicians and patients.
